Last week we left Seattle with an empty Uhaul and a couple bags for a fun filled weekend in Canada.
We were in Canada for the farr 30 Canadian Nationals. Above is a photo of English Bay, which is where the regatta was held.
Here we are sailing on USA 55 "Bat out of hell." We had an absolutely amazing time, thanks to Lance and his rock star crew! (you guys were awesome!)
Here we are having a little fun after another long hard day! We are all sore and tired but still smiling!
A bride and her wedding party decide to walk through our pack up session. I thought this photo was priceless.
After the regatta was over we went to pick up Grady's new boat. Giant baby Farr 30! She is 31 feet long and weights over 8,000 (with the trailer) and her name is Project Mayhem! She is being referred to as "giant baby farr 30" because she is like a baby, she takes up all of our time and she is all we think about.
The drive home from Canada towing Project Mayhem was exhausting, mostly because I was worried sick something would go wrong but Grady is an amazing driver and we made it home all in one piece.
Isn't she beautiful!
Here we are towing her through the locks to bring her into the fresh water so we can do some engine work and get her ready to start racing!
